Best steak in the area , the sushi was extremely fresh. The service was second to none and the ambiance was just perfect. Highly recommended

This place is amazing Our steaks were cooked perfectly, with that we had the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything was so delicious The service was great, we had reservations but got there early and we decided to eat at the bar. The bar was well made to have dinner at and the ambiance is very nice. Please give this restaurant your business we need a high end restaurant in this area!

Hidden gem that isn't located in a typical area for steak houses. Was open and available for Christmas Eve so grabbed a reservation. Appetizers: We tried the meatballs with mozzarella. There were four of us and only three meatballs. Hmmmm, couldn't they adjust accordingly so we each got one? Also got started early with two sushi orders that acted like appetizers since we asked for these to come out before entrees. The volcano roll was spot on delicious. The shrimp tempura roll was also good because it had that crunch that offset the two rolls types. Didn't like the "family style" orders. This created some argument on what to get because not everyone could agree on two orders. These are large servings meant for the family to share, so it's a shame they can't cater to allow everyone to get what they wanted with their entree. The brussel sprouts were excellent, but not everyone likes them. I convinced everyone we order the Mac n'cheese based on what I read in Yelp reviews. This was liked by most everyone. I had the New York strip steak. It was really, really good. Grilled to perfection. Service was mostly what you'd expect from a high end steak house. Good character and generally there when we needed him. Couple things we didn't like were bringing only two sets of chopsticks when there were four of us and we ordered multiple sushi rolls as appetizers. Also a little slow on coming back for the alcohol ordering, after only some were ready at the first attempt. Layout is kind of weird, but this seemed to keep the noise level down. Plenty of parking. The entrance is on the street side and you have to walk through some of the outdoor seating to get inside. Most of us said we'd eat here again.

Server Wiley was great, the food was all tasty and fresh.the ambience was warm and friendly. We highly reccomend the lolly chop lamb chops and filet. And clam chowder

Absolutely delicious meals !! We have been here twice already in one month, but often forget to take pictures, so I only have this one. The steak makes me eat first before the phone The service is amazing and there's a family ambiance... the server is very nice and welcoming!! The manager is also there making sure he asks us how it all went and making sure everything is running smoothly. The cocktails are very good too... the one I get has a lavender scent. Overall great local steakhouse. p.s.: just read a review about this place being so great you want it to stay open, but also keep on the DL... LOL. This is exactly how I feel about Birkin's.

Ever find a new restaurant that you want to stay open, but at the same time stay on the DL? That is the restaurant. Once you enter the Birkins, you are presently surprised by the contrast from outside. You are able to make reservations, which is great. However, this time we did not need to. We sat in the sushi area. Low lighting and romantic. Perfect for a date. The sushi rolls were magnificent!!! The rolls are wonderfully worth the price in size. We had dessert. Apple Crumble w/ ice cream. Absolutely scrumptious. Our waiter and manager were so professional, attentive and polite. We will be going there a lot. We went at 4:00 PM on a Sunday.

My wife and I came here for our first visit and we really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is very nice on the inside and fitting for a steak house. A nice selection of drink and food options on the menu. The wait staff is friendly and on top of everything. Our food came out promptly, at the right temperature and as requested. What I will caution you is this place is expensive and a la carte so for us this will be special occasion type of place. Although there is a fairly large bar that looked very inviting so we were thinking of coming back for a lunch and sharing a few appetizers at the bar.

I haven't been to very many steakhouses but considering this one was a combination of a steakhouse and sushi bar, it was quite good. I didn't order a steak of any kind, I was in a seafood linguini mood, but that was still rather tasty. I paired it with a California Pinot Gris which tasted very nice! Their overall steak menu is rather broad so I'm sure it'd be worth it to come back for that. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the overall price for 4 people was basically to expected. For a Thursday night it wasn't very crowded so a weeknight is ideal.
